Membership Information
Membership in AWBA is open to any North American wholesaler whose sales of books account for at least 75% of its total annual sales. Sales to entities under common ownership may not exceed 49% of the total annual sales. We also welcome book publishers as associate members.
AWBA Member Benefits:
- Join with other publishers in efforts to promote the sale of books throughout North America. Network with the wholesalers who represent over a billion dollars in book purchases.
- Participate in wholesaler and publisher meetings that address issues and trends in the industry.
- Connect with wholesale members annually in one-on-one meetings to develop strategies and programs to promote the sale of your books.
- Benefit from cooperative wholesaler and publisher meetings that set industry standards.
- In an ongoing effort to build partnering relationships between the AWBA Wholesaler and Publisher members, the AWBA has opened three non-voting positions on the Board of Trustees for Publisher members.
